Built by Composers, Not Algorithms
Hollywood, CA (October 5, 2026) – EastWest announces Hollywood Scoring Tools, a new all-in-one scoring solution designed to help composers move from musical idea to finished composition with unprecedented speed and creative flexibility.
Hollywood Scoring Tools is a fast solution to a well-known problem: Inspiration strikes, the perfect musical idea starts to form, but before it can be written down, today’s composers have to search through hundreds of patches, loading instruments, balancing layers, assigning articulations, and building templates. By the time everything is ready, the inspiration is gone.
Hollywood Scoring Tools changes that. Instead of building from scratch, Scores, professional compositions from 9 professional composers, are already balanced and performance-ready. Hollywood Scoring Tools features over 300 composer-crafted Scores and over 1000 Presets in 14 different genres and 12 different Styles, built from 164 instruments from EastWest and Sonuscore, from 5 different worlds: Orchestral, Synths, Band, World, Choir & Percussion.
Play. Customize. Compose.
Hollywood Scoring Tools is built around a simple creative workflow: choose a Score, play it, customize it, and make it your own. Each Score is a professionally designed, performance-ready combination of instruments, layers, textures, effects, and controls. Composers can modify virtually every element to fit their music, save their customized creations, and build a personal collection of Scores for future projects.
Built by Composers. Not Algorithms.
Every Score in Hollywood Scoring Tools was handcrafted by professional composers from EastWest and Sonuscore. From orchestral layers and synth textures to performance controls, dynamics, effects, and instrument combinations, every element was selected with musical purpose. These are not random sound combinations,
but purpose-built scoring tools created by composers who understand the demands of deadlines, storytelling, emotion, and professional production.
Hollywood Scoring Tools gives composers immediate access to professionally crafted Scores across a broad range of cinematic styles, from action, Sci-Fi, Horror to Documentary, Drama Uplifting and anything in between.
164 Premium Instruments Across Five Musical Worlds
