Chamber Strings Innovative, ultra-stereo strings

A chamber strings ensemble, seated and recorded in a modern, ultra-wide set-up for an immersive widescreen sound. Presented as separate high and low sections, each offering new and inventive techniques like Vesper and Nexus – engineered for instant drama and emotion. Expect tempo-synced human performances that emulate synth LFOs, atmospheric natural chorusing for tension and depth, plus must-have shorts and articulations you didn’t even know were possible.

The strings also include a fluid, natural and real legato — recorded in detail with Violins and Violas, reinforced with the the low-end weight of Cellos and Basses performing together.

With 4 production-ready mixes and 4 independent mic positions to create your own sound. These strings are small enough to feel close and personal when you need it, yet easily able to scale to fill the largest cinemas.

A huge range of powerful modular drum loops and one shots, expertly programmed and recorded by The Unfinished, using a Moog DFAM. An insanely creative analogue drum sequencer unlike anything else.

Play, combine and edit the loops and sounds in any way you like. Perfectly tempo-locked to any BPM, and everything can be tuned to match your production. These patterns bring an immediate pulse of restless industrial energy. You’re about to test your sub to it’s limits.

Swarm Synth A swarm of chaos

Inspired by the legendary Swarmatron, made famous by Trent Reznor, we’ve built our own swarm engine. Recording and warping a range of analogue Moog waveforms to start, and then creating a brand new engine to power them. This new instrument blends these raw, impulsive waves into evolving, unpredictable clusters that blur into one another, creating walls of unsettling sound.

Solo Vocals An otherworldly voice in the abstract

Experimental vocalist and spoken-word artist Jemma Freese, delivers a kaleidoscope of solo vocal sounds: haunting chants, pitched intervals, randomised shorts, and rhythmic passages. Recorded studio 2, you have a fully dry and transparent signal, and 3 bespoke FX chain mixes.

These vocals cut through dense mixes or dissolve into atmospheric layers. It’s a huge array of human emotion to add edge to mechanical landscapes and experimental songwriting.

Upright Piano, The introspective piano

A beautifully aged, Kingswood upright, recorded dry and uncluttered in Studio 2 for unfiltered character. Tuned and left to settle just enough to develop its own subtle imperfections. A piano that breathes authenticity and humanity.

Captured with separate pedal up/down samples and individual control over mechanical noises, it’s equally at home behind a fragile solo vocal or sitting inside a dense industrial score without overwhelming the mix.

Electric Guitar, Another axe to grind

The industrial rock staple. A vintage Gibson Les Paul, played through chains of pedals and stereo rig amps to deliver grit, distortion and edge across dozens of styles. With versatile articulations and rhythms, this guitar is perfect for adding human performed bite to your music. A must for modern scoring and darker songwriting.

To add even more energy, use the slides, chugs and un pitched rhythms as well as combine different sounds together.

Drum Kit, A rhythm section made for hitting

We captured a vintage Premier kit from the 1970s, recorded at Woodworm Studios in two distinct flavors: raw and resonant, or towel-muted for that dry, industrial punch.

Built for versatility — With plenty of velocity layers, round robins, and fully duplicated kits for both hands, you’ll find everything from thunderous, roomy rock hits to intimate songwriting detail as well as natural snare rolls and aggressive double-kick assaults. This kit fits right at home whether you’re creating trailer tracks or writing big rock anthems.

Bass Guitar, Dive into the deep end

Our first bass guitar: a US Fender Jazz Bass, pushed through layers of FX chains to give you snarling lows, gritty textures, and driving momentum. With a wide range of articulations and rhythms, it’s as at home underpinning alternative rock as it is adding seismic weight to cinematic scores.

To add even more realism, use the key switches to combine different articulations and to access natural bass slides, chugs and un-pitched rhythms.

Atmospheric Sound Design, The shadows between the notes

We’ve captured real-life environmental recordings from around the World, and warped them into playable atmospheric pads — unsettling drones, rhythmical undercurrents, and film-inspired ambience that inject instant weight and mood. When instruments aren’t enough, these atmospheres deliver the shadows between the notes.
