Latest version of Harrison’s renowned live performance recording and virtual soundcheck software to be demonstrated at DiGiCo booth
Anaheim, CA, January 20, 2026 – Legendary console manufacturer and software developer Harrison Audio announces that it will showcase LiveTrax 3, the latest version of its renowned live performance and virtual soundcheck software, at the NAMM 2026 Show. The new software version will be demonstrated on a DiGiCo Q112 live console at the DiGiCo [Booth 17501] during exhibition hours, between January 22 and 24.
Created specifically for live sound engineers, Harrison LiveTrax is a convenient and cost-effective multitrack recording and virtual sound check software solution designed to seamlessly interface with DiGiCo, Allen & Heath, and SSL Live console systems. This best-in-class software is perfectly suited to capture live performances of any kind – whether it is a small weekend show or a large-scale, multi-stage production with hundreds of tracks.
Among the new updates in LiveTrax 3 is a new session creation feature – exclusive to DiGiGo, as well as the ability to seamlessly transfer console channel names to LiveTrax tracks. The new software also features capabilities including automated marker insertion when a snapshot is fired, macro control of LiveTrax Transport, intelligent recall of audio routing settings, automatic session creation based on the console configuration (DiGiCoexclusive), dynamic meter bar scaling based on audio interface configuration up to 512 inputs, provides a stereo mix while recording for streaming applications and much more.
“We designed LiveTrax from the ground up to be a highly stable, multi-track software solution for live sound,” said Gary Thielmann, president of Harrison Audio. “With the addition of DiGiCo compatibility, LiveTrax 3 is now trusted among the industry’s top console manufacturers, and we have developed its simple – yet powerful – interface even further so it can capture performances in even the most demanding situations.”
Accuracy and reliability without compromise
Visit the DiGiCo booth during NAMM 2026 to experience how LiveTrax 3 delivers the accuracy and reliability needed to capture every show without compromise. Whether it is the new session creation feature, or its powerful new marker capabilities for capturing performance snapshots, LiveTrax 3 software is the perfect complement to a DiGiCo, SSL or Harrison live console setup. During a virtual soundcheck, users can recall specific mixer scenes, synchronize tracks names, and follow transport commands directly from the console. The software’s seamless integration with DiGiCo, Harrison and SSL live consoles also eliminates the many unnecessary features of a fully featured DAW in a live sound environment, enabling the user to capture any live performance without complication. Livetrax will be available March 2026 from Harrisonaudio.com.

A deeply sampled nylon-string classical guitar for acoustic performance and sound design
Available now £10 (normally £15)
Edinburgh, Scotland, 21st January 2026. Sonora Cinematic has announced the release of Pure Nylon – the latest addition to the developer’s popular series of Soundbox instruments and one which brings the warm and intimate sound of the nylon-string guitar to Audiomodern’s free sampler platform.
Recorded during the sessions for the developer’s Panorama Acoustic Kontakt library, Pure Nylon delivers the same warm tone and musical detail – now reimagined for an MPE-ready Soundbox workflow.
Both intimate and inspiring from the moment a note is pressed, Pure Nylon excels in ambient, cinematic, neo-classical, experimental, and modern underscore styles, as well as traditional and contemporary acoustic writing. The inclusion of a variety of creative presets also makes it an intriguing sound design tool.
Articulations & Presets
Pure Nylon focuses on three essential articulations – Soft Plucked, Picked and Harmonics. Each articulation is sampled note by note with three different round robins, ensuring natural variation, realism, and a highly playable feel across the keyboard.
To push Pure Nylon into more creative territory, a collection of experimental extras can be found including free improvisations – both of single notes and of root, fifth, and octave arpeggios. Holding a chord unleashes rich, beautifully chaotic soundscapes, which are especially fun and expressive when controlled by the vector.
Creative sequences and ambient presets are also included, making Pure Nylon as much a sound-design instrument as a traditional guitar.
Designed For Soundbox
Pure Nylon is designed for Soundbox – a customizable MPE sampler which is available to download for free from the Audiomodern website, and works on Mac, Windows and iOS. The release joins Sonora Cinematic’s growing lineup of Soundbox instruments which also includes Post-Rock Guitars Vol 1 & 2, Transfigured Orchestra 1& 2, Aethervox and Drift.

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, January 15, 2026. FabFilter is proud to announce the immediate availability of Pro-C 3 and a major free update to the Pro-Q 4 equalizer. Pro-C 3 takes FabFilter’s professional compressor plug-in to the next level in terms of sound, features, and workflow, while Pro-Q 4.10 brings multi-plug-in support to the Instance List, turning the industry-standard EQ into a full multi-track channel strip.
Six new compression algorithms
Adding to the eight styles of its predecessor, Pro-C 3 serves up six brand-new compression algorithms to steer users’ dynamics processing in all sorts of exciting new directions. The Versatile Style is a general purpose algorithm for use on any material, and Smooth is the new go-to for super-smooth gluing at low ratios and longer envelope timings. At the more extreme end of the scale, the Upward algorithm applies pumping upward compression, and TTM combines downward and upward compression across multiple bands. Finally, with the warm opto-like tube compression of Op-El, and the fabulous variable mu richness of Vari-Mu, Pro-C 3 reaches new heights inspired by classic hardware compressors.
Compress with character
Further boosting Pro-C 3’s sonic credentials, the new Character panel heats things up with three flavors of analog saturation. Choose the Tube, Diode, or Bright variations, raise the Drive amount, and switch between Pre and Post Compression routing for a wealth of sound-enhancing harmonic distortion and coloration treatments.
Improved Side Chain EQ
The ability to precisely filter and equalize the sidechain input is central to any great compressor, and Pro-C 3 ups the number of available EQ bands from three to six. Each band can be set to any of the filter shapes users already know and love from Pro-Q 4; the extensive menu of roll-off slopes now includes Brickwall Low Pass and High Pass options, and every band can be independently switched to mid or side processing. With its dramatically improved Side Chain EQ, Pro-C 3 gives more control over compression triggering than ever.
Immersive Dolby Atmos® compatibility
Every bit as effective for immersive audio production as it is for good old stereo, Pro-C 3 supports all major surround formats up to Dolby Atmos® 9.6.1. Routing automatically adapts to the multi-channel format of the host project with no manual configuration required; stereo linking in surround mode operates independently for each stereo pair (L/R, Lc/Rc, Ls/Rs, etc); and the output level meter shows all channels, labelled appropriately. Following in the footsteps of Pro-Q 4 and Pro-R 2, Pro-C 3’s friction-free multi-channel implementation opens the plug-in up to a whole new world of production possibilities.
Host tempo triggering and Auto Threshold adjustment
Joining Internal, External, and MIDI triggering in the Side Chain section, Pro-C 3’s new Host Sync option outputs a steady internal pulse that triggers the compressor at any tempo-synced note value, with adjustable Offset and trigger Length for fine-tuning — ideal for dialing in rhythmic ducking effects without the need for an external trigger input. Further triggering flexibility is provided by the new Auto Threshold setting, which dynamically shifts the Threshold so that the same amount of compression is triggered at different input levels — very handy for maintaining consistent dynamic styling in highly-volume-variable dialog tracks, for example.
Plus: Pro-Q 4.10 brings multi-plugin support to the Instance List
Pro-Q 4 introduced the innovative Instance List, enabling multiple instances of the plug-in to be controlled from a single interface; with the free Pro-Q 4.10 update, this incredibly powerful functionality now also incorporates Pro-C 3, as well as the Pro-G gate and Pro-DS de-esser plug-ins. All running instances of those plug-ins appear in Pro-Q 4.10’s Instance List, arranged in order of insertion on each track, where they can be individually bypassed and controlled to a varying level of detail depending on the Instance List Zoom setting — from essential controls only at the lowest level of Zoom to almost all parameters at the highest Zoom level. With the new Instance List, what was already a transformative workflow accelerator becomes even more expansive and empowering — and even more beautiful in full-screen mode.
Users of Pro-G and Pro-DS should download the latest minor updates to enable Instance List compatibility. Other FabFilter plug-ins will be added to the Instance List in the future.
Pro-C 3 Key features:

New York – January 14, 2026 – Avantone Pro today announces the CLA-Sub, a high-performance studio subwoofer designed for producers, mix engineers, and post-production professionals who demand massive low-frequency extension without sacrificing clarity or truth. The CLA-Sub delivers authoritative bass that remains clean, controlled, and honest at high volume.
Dual firing modes
The CLA-Sub is highly configurable to suit real-world rooms. Users can deploy the sub in either front-firing mode for the cleanest possible reproduction, or downward-firing mode to take advantage of floor coupling for an additional +3 dB of output. Reposition-able vibration-damping feet reduce mechanical coupling and sympathetic resonance, eliminating the need for aftermarket isolation solutions.
Exclusive dual-magnet driver
At the heart of the CLA-Sub is an exclusive dual-magnet driver, engineered exclusively for Avantone Pro. Unlike subwoofers that inflate perceived loudness through distortion and harmonic coloration, the CLA-Sub was designed from the ground up to minimize distortion while dramatically increasing output. Its stacked dual-ferrite magnet structure provides exceptional power and control, while a specially selected rigid paper cone delivers fast transient response with minimal overtones — resulting in a loud, clear, and trustworthy low end.
Adaptable to any studio
Flexible studio integration is further supported by a sweepable Subwoofer High Cut crossover (50Hz – 180Hz), selectable Thru Low Cut filters (80 / 100 Hz) for connected monitors, plus onboard Phase and Volume controls. Locking XLR / ¼” TRS combo inputs ensure secure connections — even under extreme low-frequency output. A Bypass Footswitch input allows for instant A/B comparison — with and without the sub, and a switchable Auto-Standby mode places the CLA-Sub into low-power sleep after 30 minutes of inactivity.
With the CLA-Sub, Avantone Pro delivers bass that moves air, reveals detail, and respects the integrity of any mix.
The CLA-Sub will be available for pre-order beginning January 14, 2026, and is shipping to Avantone Pro’s global network of dealers and distributors (https://avantonepro.com/en/dealers/) in April 2026 with a US MAP of $1,299.00 USD and an EU SSP of €1,729.00 EUR (inc. 19% VAT).

From humble roots in New York, Avantone Pro has strived to deliver world-class audio products without breaking the bank. Revered across home project studios and professional facilities alike, the brand remains committed to enabling creative excellence regardless of budget.
